What happened to RPOL? No new comments, no new topics. Was there some cataclysmic event that chased everyone away? Kinda scary!

OK, I was mistaken on the Pike Cold Cuts; it was Ridley Cold Cuts that closed, a long time ago.

An intentional boycott is not quite what I was thinking. More along the lines of "has interest in Ridley Park died? And the official web site is just dead. Hard to find out anything about RP now. Do you happen to know what happened to Pike Cold Cuts? Someone told me they closed. WHAT??!!

Linda Shockley,

Yes there has been a shortage of amusing comments since the departure of Carol Nasella and Parkian Hamilton.  And they took their remarks with them when they left.  For example, the question I had posted about the whereabouts of Mary Hopper who had sent us the "Paid for by the RP Republican Party" borough calendar last year has gone away. I was "criticized" for asking if RPOL was being "censored."  Maybe we should wonder, as you seem to suggest, is there an intentional "boycott" going on?  Is this the typical post election apathy?  Maybe interest in community participation will perk-up as the important May primary election approaches...  How is the "official hub of community activity"--the Borough website--doing?   Wishing you a Happy Easter!
