Tom park, Get a grip man!  Previously you said you would hold off your judgment about the billboard till we hear from the Judge because you were not fully informed; then you go off on speculation clouding up the issue with make-believe…

"Looks like when the easement was presented council corrected the situation"—What evidence can you show to support your belief?

"Now we need to find out who put the sign up in the first place. You can't blame the police officers. They were just doing their job"—They were just following orders.

"They write tickets based on the signs"—They write tickets to enforce the policy as directed.  For example, the Mayor suggested recently that the police did not ticket stop sign runners because the fine wasn’t enough to cover the officer’s time.

"Wonder why the resident did not show the easement to the council in the first place?"—How do you know what was or wasn’t reviewed by the Solicitor several decades ago?

"May have saved the town some legal fees"—A much greater savings in time and money would have been realized if the Mayor and Council had read and applied the RP Borough Code regarding Park management where it states advertising in public Parks is prohibited!

"(That in the end all residents pay) I like how the video trys to show council in a negative light"—The video records what was said; do you imply that the video is doctored up somehow?  Do you really think President Berger’s performance was more credible than the resident at the podium?

"because they were waiting for a legal decision from the lawyer"—Did you choose to forget that the Borough Manager sent an email notice under legal advisement from the Borough Solicitor for everyone to refrain from commenting on the billboard topic while the civil suit is pending?  Of course, this warning didn’t stop the Borough Manager from commenting to the Daily Times with inflammatory remarks that were later (at the January Council meeting) re-spun in an attempt to smooth their harshness....

Another thought about the billboard next to Ron Wise: would that mean that a billboard in Catania Park would be too close?

I've been wondering about the other billboard in Ridley Park, the one right next to Ron Wise Auto Body.  In fact, it looks like it's right on his property.  If that's the case, is that why no one can say or do anything about it?  Because it's his business?  Also, I notice that that billboard is not lit overnight, it goes out sometime around midnight or maybe 11PM, and at 6AM it's still out.  I saw something somewhere that I think said that billboards right next to I95 are not allowed to be lit overnight but the Lamaar one sure is.  Anyone know anything about that?

Well the Ridley Park borough council has got it wrong again concerning property owners rights. But they will use the solicitor to weasel out from this.  The two property owners do have a "NEW" violation against the Ridley Park borough.  Let's see how council continues to make more mistakes.  Thanks for the 4 %  tax increase.
