It"s surprising no one has recalled Mr. Glenn's many appearances, as a citizen, before previous councils.  His moments of veiled sarcasm are hard to forget.

It's strange, that after 127 years, the public portion  of the meetings has been redefined.  What does council fear? It will be ironic when, on Memorial Day, the mayor will speak of respect and appreciation for the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms, while having colluded to dampen the rights of the borough"s citizens.  As a veteran I'll be a little disappointed with the insincerity and hypocrisy.

Sandy and all—

May 20 is a primary election, which means registered voters in each party vote only to nominate candidates for their party. Then in November all voters can choose between the party nominated candidates. The governor candidates have websites—you can google their names for info—Dems are State Treasurer Rob McCord;Tom Wolf, Allyson Schwartz, & Katie McGinty.

On May 20, you can vote for your choice for Governor and Lt. Gov.

For Dem voters, our local Dem endorsed candidates include: John Kane (State Senate) ; Mary Ellen Balchunis  (US Congress), & your Ridley Park Dem committee person at the bottom of the ballot. Also on the ballot, choices for 10 seats to represent DelCo on the Dem State Committee-

Can someone tell me who are we voting for in May? I've gotten no literature from anyone, so I don't know who's running. Thank you to anyone who wants to tell me. Have a fun raining day. Good day to read a book and take naps all day, go out to dinner, and come home for little TV and then go to bed.

tom p  Parker Girl really gets to you doesn't she? I don't see you responding to other ppl who make the same point as her. You don't respond to Informed RU or Sandy or other members who have the same opinion, you seemed focused on Parker Girl. Must be personal. You do seem to have a knack for turning things around. I think her point of the AC wasn't about Dan it was about the posse that shows up every time Berger/Boland/Mattus/Glenn  (their bread and butter) seems to come under fire.

@LInda One can dream can't they? I believe there will be an all out call for people to come out to vote. Reminding residents where this council has led us, but it's up to the individual residents to care enough to get out to vote. There in lies the problem....getting people off their butts to vote. People think their vote doesn't count, what's one person, etc...well that's the difference between getting rid of ineffective people and voting someone in who clearly wants to make a difference.

If voters in this town have such a long memory, why did the current cabal get re-elected?  I think your confidence about a full out blitz is a bit unrealistic; the last election showed that most RP voters are sheep who go baa-ing to the polls and vote the same people who screwed them over.

Dan broadherst has the right to bring as many members of the athletic club as he wants to the meeting. Every Ridley park resident has the right to go to council meetings. Not just the residents who agree with your ideas.

If Glenn goes he must take his "buddies" with him. They would be, Berger, Mattus, Snow and BM and CP. They can bring out all the athletic club members they want, but the writing is on the wall...too bad they're too blind to see it....their time on council is limited. If council is waiting for someone to say something pleasant to them during public comment, they may have a long wait. Credit will be given to them when it's due. There will be a full out blitz with voter turn out at the next election. One thing about Parkers is they have a long memory. For those that might have forgotten what this council has done to our borough, people will be there to remind them.
