Ridley Park Council; voting out the incumbents

Kudos to the truck I saw over the weekend!! I was headed from my home on West Ridley Avenue headed East. I was at the intersection of Swarthmore and West Ridley and saw a truck with bold white letters written on the back...VOTE OUT THE INCUMBENTS!! I actually laughed out loud....I may actually steal that idea. Thank you for speaking for most of the borough...I hope the right people see it and understand they are not wanted here.

Many people seem to want a change in our town council. But excerpt for Ken Harper for Mayor, hardly any candidates are running against the current council. Deadline to file petitions to run is March 12.

If no one else runs the same council will be re-elected in November

Of course, it is only my opinion, but anything is better than what we have. As an lifelong Parker, this council has brought embarrassment to our borough. I believe strongly that some of the people that will be running for office can do a much better job. It's not about party affiliation, it's about doing the best for the borough and I don't think this council (certain members) have done that. I vote for who I like, doesn't make a difference if it's a Rep or Dem. The only people on council worth anything are Jared and Sue, the rest of them....needed to be knocked off the pedestal they placed themselves on.

A question begs to be asked: who will be put into office if we run out the incumbents?

He is a retired policeman, who lives in Ridley Park.  Retired from the police dept from a borough in Chester county.  He likes to talk with people about this writing on the back of his truck.
