I just received the Republican attack advertisement in my mail over the weekend - I’m not surprised. I’m not surprised how low the Ridley Park Republicans will go in their attempt to stop the residents of Ridley Park from voting for councilors who are United for Ridley Park.
"United for Ridley Park" is a collection of both Democrat and Republican residents who want to end the deception and strong-arm politics that have been running Ridley Park for far too many years. …Continue

The pole located on Ridley (E.Ridley) street across from the orange barriers on the bridge.
I don't understand how our elected officials can ignore this issue for years. Has it been three years now? It can be seen from the windows of borough Hall. If this was in front of my house I would call PECO and have it fixed. This is at the corner where children cross to go to school and along the path to walk in and out of our town. Can someone explain why an electrical pole is being…Continue

Some reminders about safety through the storm:
If you have wires down and/or lose power (and let's all hope it doesn't happen!), call PECO's emergency number 1-800-841-4141 and stay away from any wires that are sparking, arcing, hanging, or on the ground.
While enjoying your fireplaces or using space heaters, please don't forget about carbon monoxide. Our last three calls for CO in Ridley Park have turned out to be real emergencies with high levels of CO in the…Continue

I was very concerned how the local Republican leader orchestrated our October Borough Council Meeting last night. I'm a long time Ridley Parker and I never have seen a council meeting where the Republican Party Leader has free reign to show off his monetary influence. I've witnessed first hand how much power this one person has to orchestrate our Borough Council.
We heard his speech. How he repeatedly mentioned IBEW 98, his name, and how much money his union gives to Ridley…Continue

We received a letter in the mail yesterday from who appeared to the Borough of Ridley Park. The envelope and the letterhead say "Borough of Ridley Park," and the letter inside is signed by Ridley Park Mayor Hank Eberle.
What shocked me is this letter is a solicitation for services from the "Services Line Warranties of America." I'm writing to ask if any other Ridley Park resident thinks it's a bit strange for the Mayor's endorsement on Borough Letterhead for outside services…Continue
