I think that when it is time for the Police Chiefs report, he should come to the podium, give his report and leave. I don't think it is fair that he sits and stands behind the people who are talking to council. He interups the person, at times he is scartastic, and down right rude. He has no reason to get into the conversations with the people. That is why we have a so called Council. Let them take care of the situation, and not get the Chief into the discussion. If he is going to voice his…Continue
There were many events in 2013 that effected me indirectly; super typhoon Haiyan leveling the Philippines, the US government shutdown, the bankruptcy of Detroit, the Boston Marathon bombing, and the death of Nelson Mandela. And there were personal events in 2013 that I'll always be able to remember, that I'll never be able to forget, that someday I won't always be able to assign to a year.
My influential event was witnessing my friend for forty years and his wife fight bladder…
What a joke this unrecorded hoocs was; only two of our boro folks were allowed to view their opinions and the gang cut off the rest of us, then tossed that Timfay and his camera out for the simple request of other neighbors impute; money doesn't grow on trees for those on fixed incomes....time needs a changing !@@!!!
What a disgrace was displayed tonight at the special budget meeting. Jim Glenn once again showed that he is a pompous ass. He acted like a good puppet and stayed home Tuesday night from the televised council meeting as Finance Chair because once again this council BOUNCED checks and overdrew on the General Fund. Bob Berger said that we have a special General Fund account in addition to the published Budget for the public that is not available for public view. The…Continue

Last night at the council meeting I watched the Chief of Police, in full uniform, walking up to two Hetzel Park Residents who were at the podium voicing their opinion about the recent violation / tickets being given to residents of Hetzel Park who park on the paper street leading into Hetzel Park. I have never seen a public official try to get up into another person's space to confront them on an issue about the conduct of our Police Force. Please watch the replay of the meeting an tell me…Continue
The newest problem in Hetzel park centers around parking by the neighbors in the egress into Hetzel Park. Neighbors on either side of the entrance way into the park spoke during the Public Comment section at last night's, December Borough Council meeting.
The residents on either side of the egress were given parking summons last month for parking their cars in a…Continue

The businesses along Ridley Park's East Hinckley Avenue were bedecked in holiday attire, and signs beckoned with calls to “Shop Small” as Saturday was set apart in the holiday shopping season for folks to check out the stores in their hometowns and pour some spending into the local economies.
All across the county from Long Lane in Upper Darby to the Avenue of the Arts in Chester and from Church Lane in Yeadon to State Street in Media, small business owners welcomed shoppers,…Continue
Happy december too all. Now that everyone had their sins forgiven, it's back to talking serious turkey. My cat and I were out at our main park stroll and witnessed three groups of adult jock mussel brains intimidating several park tree planters. I faced those same ball and stick morons at boro meetings in the past, where I spoke up for their kids safety about their placement of hoops on busy streets, and the da-da idea of piping through our lake, filling one of our main community staples,…Continue
