Ridley Park Repubicans Blame Away their Auditors Report

My campaign published the Republican majority's Auditor's report in our literature so the residents would know from the most informed, reputable, source, possible that financial irresponsibility is destroying Ridley Park.  Soon after, residents received literature in the mailboxes blaming the Democrats for misleading the facts.  The fact is both Democrats and Republicans and reporting the same bad numbers.  And, the fact is the overspending numbers are from the Republican Majority…

DelcoTimes Letter to the Editor: Ridley Park residents have big decision Tuesday

The residents of Ridley Park have a big decision to make on Nov. 3, 2015. Do they vote for more of the same or do they vote to restore fiscal accountability and responsible management to our local government.

Donators support Ridley Park Police's Heroin Education Program

The Taylor Community Foundation donated $3,800 to Ridley Park Police to continue of the department’s heroin education in local schools. The hard-hitting, gut wrenching all too real program looks to impress kids with the dangers of using heroin. The program is headed by Corporals Robert Frazier and James Nasella of the Ridley Park Police Department.  The officers visit local schools and tell the kids first hand, factual…

I've witnessed first hand how much power this one person has to orchestrate our Borough Council.

We heard his speech. How he repeatedly mentioned IBEW 98, his name, and how much money his union gives to Ridley…

Ridley Park: A Homey Enclave and Leave It To Beaver-ville

If Ridley Park were the first Philadelphia area community you had ever visited - a father's job interview at Boeing in the early 1960s - you are overtaken by remembrances of things past.

Realtor Nicole Ritchie describes the borough of Ridley Park as "a cluster of residential, commercial and industrial" parcels. Add proximity to Interstate 95 and a stop on…

Vest-a-Cop

If you are attending the Ridley Park Fall Festival this Sunday from 1-6 p.m., check out VEST-A-COP.

The new organization was formed as a result of the Aug. 30 incident in which Ridley Park Police Officer Marc Hanly was shot twice assisting a barricaded-subject call in Norwood.

Hanly, who returned to work Monday on light duty, credits his tactical…

RP Election: Candidates for Borough Council

RP Council President has often spoken of our Council as being "Bipartisan," meaning in this context that two Political Parties are represented on the present Council--Republican and Democrat.

I would like to see a true NON PARTISAN evaluation of Candidates based on individual qualifications, experience, and commitment to principles over "Party."

That is the purpose of this blog.

For example, it is fine for a person to dislike "social media,"…
