Impoundment Lot- Bright Lights & Noise.

While visiting some residents in the 2 Hundred block of E. Rodgers St. this past week quite a few residents had asked me why they have to put up with the bright lights & noise that goes on after 10:00 p.m.  The lights are really bright & shine into the bedroom windows of these houses.  The residents have also told me about the noise that goes on during the late hours into the early morning.  I asked them if it could of been noise from the Home Depot, & it wasn't coming from the HD. … Continue

What, no posts about the accident last night downtown?

Gridlock when I was coming home from work.  Streets all blocked.  Came home then walked downtown in time to see the truck and the downed pole, the glass, the wires.... what a mess.  I wonder what this huge truck was doing in downtown RP?

Ridley Park Police are investigating a suspicious interaction between two 9-year-old boys and a black male that occurred Thursday in the 200 block of East Hinckley Avenue. The boys recognized the situation was suspicions and ran home and… Continue

Wine and Cheese Event, Friday, October 7, 2011

Thank you for extending an invitation to me to sign my children’s book Dancing Trees at the Wine and Cheese event last night. More importantly, thank you for all the local support from our friends and neighbors. I was not seated at a table to wine and dine though from the table Mike and I were at (which by the way was graciously positioned to put us both right in the action) the happenings looked to be a huge success.

From the beautiful set up with romantic candle light to the well…
