A blast at the Victorian fair at the lake

Had a blast at the Victorian fair at the lake. Moon bounce check, pony ride check check, sweet potatoe fries check, sweet tea, mmmmmyummy!!! today til 4. Next week heading to Media, for some more christmas shopping. Look forward to the fall festival.

Friends of RP Library booth at Victorian Fair

Come visit our booth at The Ridley Park Victorian Fair Sept. 10th 10am to 4pm at The Lake. There will be information on our upcoming events, including a Pancake Breakfast at Applebee's on Oct. 23rd.  Also, a coloring activity for the kiddies!

Help Ridley Park Disaster Assessment of Hurricane Irene

In the wake of President Obama's disaster declaration in Pennsylvania after Hurricane Irene August 26-30, 2011, Ridley Park Borough may quality for state or federal disaster relief and RP officials are asking RPOL members for our assistance in documenting the disaster damages in Ridley Park.

Currently, five Pennsylvania counties are determined to be disaster areas…

Police are asking for help identifying the knife-wielding suspect who robbed the Wawa in the Holmes section of the township Saturday morning.

missing cat

I hope it's OK to post this here. I was taking care of a cat that's been living where I work. I took him home this weekend for safekeeping b/c the place I work was getting its driveways repaved so I thought he'd be safer at my house. I was keeping him on my enclosed front porch. lights went out again on West Ridley!

How many of us groaned and said "Not again!" when the electricity went out at around 5:50 this evening? Came back 20 minutes later, which was just long enough for all 85 (according to PECO) households to start getting nervous!
