Congratulations to everyone--202 E Hinckley has closed!

This was a real community effort!  Friday there was a red notice saying the premises needed a certificate of occupancy...and yesterday, all the "open" signs were removed and a For Rent sign up.  Keep up the diligence and thanks to all who brought it to the attention of the borough and police department.  We need to work together to keep this a great community.

I think it is a great way to point out some maintenance issues.  I got response in 24 hrs.  Who ever is monitoring thank you.  I found it hard to find but it is on the Main page on the left side, right above the school closing codes.

I asked if the one down the street was moving, surely there won't be two "cigar lounges" in our tiny town? Nope. Was told, "people are knocking down the door to get in and that these shops are in high demand in RP!"

REALLY??? What is going on here? We already have 3 bars and now 3 tobacco based businesses in our…

Battling Spam on RPOL

I've made a small change to our network to try and reduce the frequency of spammers we've been seeing on RPOL.  The latest flock of spammers have entered our network by following the ways of legitimate members; correct answer our test questions, a correct captcha and a legitimate email address.

The purpose of spamming us with advertisements is to elevate the relevance of their product with the 10-16 search engine robots that cruise RPOL's content everyday.

For the…
