I just want to take a moment to say well done, to our residences for RP and also to our Ridley Park police and surrounding police support. Together we are kicking the crime out of RP and making it safe to walk the streets at any hour of the day or night. Thanks again for all your efforts and concerns.

RP begins Citizen Police Academy

The Ridley Park Police Department is accepting applications to its "Citizens Police Academy". The academy will start on Thursday, Sept. 16 and meet on Thursday nights from 7-9PM at The Police Station. Space for the current academy is limited to 15 participants. Law enforcement topics will cover traffic laws, composite sketching, sex crimes, criminal investigations, and crime prevention.

Business District Clean up!

I just wanted to thank everyone who helped out today to make the clean up of the Business District a success! Howard McCoy posted this on his site without my even asking! THANK YOU HOWARD.
