It was great to see the growing Ivy cut in front of those two Stone Houses. Now how about the trash? It doesn't speak well of our borough. We complain about the stores, but look around. I cleaned up 2 bags of trash along Morton this evening. E. Hinkley has many areas of trash. Who do we bring this to?
Levittown has just declared a state of emergency so they're prepared in case the pope's visit causes chaos. I wonder if RP should do the same? I'm picturing tons of people swarming the two train stations & causing all sorts of problems. Has anything been said at council meetings?

Someone said there was one in the Delco Times this past week. But I can't find it. Results were less than encouraging.
A leak in a 10,000-gallon tank at the Ridley Township Municipal Maintenance Center at Second and Sutton avenues has been leaking diesel fuel into Stony Creek for about a day. The leak in the massive underground tank was discovered Tuesday morning when Prospect Park residents noticed the fuel odor.
