Frames flyers

Has anyone else gotten one of those door hangers claiming Frame's kennels abuses animals?
No indication anywhere on it who is making these claims.

Billboard issues - Setting a slippery slope precedent - LAWSUITS

I'm not sure many residents of Ridley Park knew about an interesting Zoning Meeting / Public Meeting that took place last week Apr 23.  It was advertised in the newspaper as a public meeting regarding Steen Billboard on Ketchum Road ( Ron Wise Auto access road ).  The billboard back on this property is the old traditional billboard as we knew them from the 70's -80's - and 90's.  In layman's terms: a picture with several bright lights shining on it to illuminate the advertisement for traffic…

Merge Ridley Park Police & Fire with Ridley Township

I'm wondering if we'd be better off (especially in light of our COP problems) merging our police and fire with Ridley Township?  It seems like every time an emergency such as a fire happens, both departments respond anyway.  Would we save $ that way?  Also use their trash and recycling collection?

This blog can either be totally ignored as being so far off the wall it isn't funny, or create a firestorm, just please be gentle in your response.

Recreation Park

Ok, I just took a deep breath before I wrote.  Just took my dog for a walk one of many, and what was at the end of Kenney and Park, a Port-a-Potty, not hidden in the trees, right where you cannot miss it. Come up Kenney Street to Park and the first thing you will see is a Potty. At least last year it was slightly hidden amongst the trees further in the Park.  I forgot, it is tan this year instead of bright blue.  My neighbor is trying to sell his house and how can you sell when there is a…

Resident's rights with parking - HELP!

My Question: I would like to create the possibility of getting a "Do Not Block Driveway Sign" on the same sign post as the sign meters in front of my establishment, Who do I contact to propose this request?

My Situation: I live next to Taylor Hospital and across from the Post Office, and on a regular basis people park in front of the heavly uses driveway to my establishment.
