Ridley Park's George Cooper, his story

He has lived in Ridley Park for over 50 years;  raised his children and grandchildren between Ridley Park and the Jersey Shore. (In the summer time)

Nor'Easter to impact Ridley Park: Storm Alert

A typically unusual storm with high wind and rain is destined to impact Ridley Park today and continue into Monday with local flooding, downed trees and power outages.

The effects of this classic Nor' Easter should begin to affect Ridley Park after 6:00 PM Sunday and only worsen. Rainfall amounts greater than 2.5 inches are expected.

Thank You to the Mayor

I would just like to take this moment to thank the Mayor for reflecting on our lost brothers from the Philadelphia Fire Dept. at the Council Meeting.  A few of us traveled up to Engine 7 in Philly the night they passed.  We talked to the brave men of that station as well as met the Mayor of Philadelphia.  These men died protecting the City! Crozer-Keystone to eliminate 400 jobs

Delaware County’s largest employer, Crozer-Keystone Health System, announced it will eliminate up to 400 positions, as a result of various factors stemming from the current economic climate, system officials said Wednesday.
