Does anyone have a water garden?

By this I do not mean a fountain or a little pond, I mean an attractive system by which runoff water is handled in the yard by means of landscaping, stones, etc.  We are interested in making one, and yes I know we missed the workshops that happened earlier this year!  Any help is appreciated.

Little Tree Huggers

Helping keep the town clean and celebrating Earth Day!  Four year olds get pro-active and pick up several trashbags full of litter with their mom and some rubber gloves.  Big changes start in small places and provide healthy life lessons about how to treat our planet and community.  The children in this picture are showing every little bit counts and you can do your part no matter what age you are :)  Good… Continue

So where's Steve?

Right outside Ridley Park's limits, behind Chill-Out Ice Cream in Leedom Estates, a national animal-lovers crisis is unfolding over the whereabouts of a micro-miniature, Vietnamese potbelly pig called Steve.

Ridley Township Police have refused to reveal their hideout for the 10 week old pig they found in an alley.

Pigs and other agriculture animals are illegal in Ridley Township and the best course of action was to deport Steve to an undisclosed farm.  Against the cries of…

For more than 500 young Ridley Park boys and girls Saturday is RPAC's 50th Opening Day Ceremony and it's time to play baseball and softball; even if the weather doesn't cooperate all day.

While RPAC has a concern about tomorrows' weather, the current forecast is for heavy rain in…

The re-opened cafe

So, has anybody been in and checked the place out yet?  I think it's called the Black Salt Cafe?  I plan to stop by after work today.  Hopefully they'll be interested in hosting a BookCrossing bookshelf.
