At March's Borough Council meeting, Cpl. John Morris of Ridley Park Police Department (RPPD) said that two vacant houses have been broken into and stripped of copper pipe and copper wire. Corporal Morris urged residents to call 911 if they notice anything suspicious. Councilor Glenn announced at March 17 council meeting that there will be a public forum on Code Permit Regulations and Ridley Park Code Enforcement. The date is April 29. The Borough's Code Enforcement Officer A. Tartagalia and some of his staff are to be there to answer residents questions.
I hope we residents can get some questions answered about the terrible reputation Ridley Park is getting among area contractors about our code enforcement practices.
