Wine and Cheese Event, Friday, October 7, 2011

Thank you for extending an invitation to me to sign my children’s book Dancing Trees at the Wine and Cheese event last night. More importantly, thank you for all the local support from our friends and neighbors. I was not seated at a table to wine and dine though from the table Mike and I were at (which by the way was graciously positioned to put us both right in the action) the happenings looked to be a huge success. From the beautiful set up with romantic candle light to the well suited tunes…See More

Little Tree Huggers

Helping keep the town clean and celebrating Earth Day!  Four year olds get pro-active and pick up several trashbags full of litter with their mom and some rubber gloves.  Big changes start in small places and provide healthy life lessons about how to treat our planet and community.  The children in this picture are showing every little bit counts and you can do your part no matter what age you are :)  Good work!!!!!See More

Calling all readers, writers and neighbors

So, you had your first book published - now what? Well, marketing and promotion are soon to follow. This translates to lots of research on methods to promote your book. One aspect of internet promotion - that is extensively written about - is blogging. You will notice that as suggested with article writing, blogging is similar in that the writer needs to engage the reader. Writers suggest that people seem to be less interested in reading about someone else’s musings - unless you’re someone…See More
